    DIETITIAN (Registered) Part Time:

    Hamilton Grove & Rehabilitation Center in Hamilton is seeking a permanent part time (24 hours) Registered  Dietitian to join our clinical team.  

    The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for coordinating the nutritional care of residents by completing nutritional assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and documenting dietary information about residents.

    Position requires a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.  Must be able to perform the job duties independently and be a team player.

    Experience in Long Term Care preferred.

    The Nutrition Coordinator/RD position at Berlin will be open effective 6/9. If you are interested in the position, please apply on the Virtua Careers page.(

    The position is full time/40 hours per week

    Some responsibilities include:

    Resident assessments and follow-ups in LTC and SAR, per DOH and Virtua policy (with help from DTR 8 hours per week)

    Work closely with Food Services, Administration and other departments

    Attend meetings as department head in the building

    Coordinate schedule

    Complete PI projects, weight reports

    Clinical Nutrition

    12 hours/week; 6hours in Berlin Long term care on Monday and 6hours on Thursday at Mt Holly Center.


    Responsible for assessing, educating, and making a decision regarding the nutrition therapy of patients.

    Responsible for assuring that nutrition care is provided and documented in accordance with policies and procedures as well as regulatory guidelines.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Provide nutritional assessment, education, counseling and documentation.

    • Collaborates with medical professionals to assure patient nutrition needs are met.

    • Attends medical rounds on units where applicable.

    • Acts as resource for Healthcare Team as it relates to the patient.

    Required Education:

    Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics.


    Valid registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (RD) or (RDE).
