Conducting Research in an Active Health Care Community
Speaker Jayne Craig PhD, RN, will present practical strategies in doing research. She will identify research approaches; designs, and steps in conducting research. Lastly, she will collaborate with RDs’/RDNs’ in research to provide quality care to the geriatric client. Jayne Craig PhD, RN is Manager, Clinical & Nursing Research, CentraState Medical Center in Freehold, NJ.

Renal Nutrition: EYE in CKD
Speaker Michele Damon, RDN, is a Renal Dietitian for DaVita, Inc. She will provide the Mini Expand Your Expertise on Chronic Kidney Disease program which is designed to increase the knowledge of clinical dietitians and/or consultants regarding medical nutrition therapy for patients in the late stages of CKD and for those on dialysis. Topics to be covered include when the kidneys fail, treatment choices, nutrients related to bone disorders, anemia and team collaboration.
